1. Names
a) Names which contain insulting (e.g. "Bastard"), racist (e.g. "Nigger"), extremely right-wing (e.g. "Hitler"), sexist (e.g. "Bitch") or offensive (e.g. "Copkiller") language.
b) Names containing parts of sentences (e.g. "Mike returns"), nonsensical combinations of letters (e.g. "Fgfshdsfg") or invalid formattings (e.g. "Thegreatknight").
c) Names that obviously do not describe a person (e.g. "Christmastree", "Matrix"), names of real life celebrities (e.g. "Britney Spears"), names that refer to real countries (e.g. "Swedish Druid"), names which were created to fake other players' identities (e.g. "Arieswer" instead of "Arieswar") or official positions (e.g. "System Admin").

2. Cheating
a) Exploiting obvious errors of the game ("bugs"), for instance to duplicate items. If you find an error you must report it to Administration immediately.
b) Intentional abuse of weaknesses in the gameplay, for example arranging objects or players in a way that other players cannot move them.
c) Using tools to automatically perform or repeat certain actions without any interaction by the player ("macros").
d) Manipulating the client program or using additional software to play the game.
e) Trying to steal other players' account data ("hacking").
f) Playing on more than one account at the same time ("multi-clienting").
g) Offering account data to other players or accepting other players' account data ("account-trading/sharing").

3. Gamemasters
a) Threatening a gamemaster because of his or her actions or position as a gamemaster. 
b) Pretending to be a gamemaster or to have influence on the decisions of a gamemaster.
c) Intentionally giving wrong or misleading information to a gamemaster concerning his or her investigations or making false reports about rule violations.

 
4. Player Killing
a) Excessive killing of characters who are not marked with a "skull" on worlds which are not PvP-enforced. Please note that killing marked characters is not a reason for a banishment.

 
5. Bugs & Exploits
a) Any game bug, exploit, unintended mechanic or technical issue that provides an unfair advantage is strictly prohibited.
b) Players are required to report newly discovered bugs to the Administration as soon as possible.
c) Intentionally abusing bugs or exploits for personal gain may result in: removal of illegally obtained items, removal of gained experience or currency, rollback of character progress, temporary or permanent account suspension.
d) Claiming that a bug was "used accidentally" does not exempt a player from consequences if the Administration determines that the bug was knowingly exploited.

 
6. Items & Economy
a) The Administration reserves the right to remove, modify or replace any item, currency or reward obtained through: bugs, exploits, duplicated items, server errors, Item Shop errors, unintended game mechanics.
b) No compensation will be granted for items removed due to illegal acquisition.
c) Trading duplicated or bugged items is also considered exploiting. 

7. Server Stability
a) The Administration may perform emergency maintenance, restarts or server shutdowns at any time.
b) In case of critical bugs, database corruption or exploits, the Administration reserves the right to perform a rollback to the latest available backup.
c) Rollbacks may result in loss of progress. No compensation is guaranteed.

 
8. Game Balance
a) The Administration may change at any time: item statistics, monster statistics, spells, quests, loot, experience rates, upgrade systems, event rewards, any other gameplay mechanic.
b) Such changes do not entitle players to refunds or compensation.

 
9. Item Shop
a) Purchasing an item does not guarantee permanent ownership if the item was granted incorrectly due to a technical problem.
b) The Administration may correct Item Shop transactions that were affected by server or website errors. c) Fraudulent chargebacks or payment abuse will result in permanent account suspension.

 
10. Accounts
a) Players are fully responsible for the security of their accounts.
b) The Administration is not responsible for: lost passwords, hacked accounts, shared accounts, items transferred voluntarily.
c) Sharing an account is done entirely at the owner's own risk.

 
11. Administration Rights
a) The Administration has the final interpretation of these rules.
b) Situations not explicitly described in these rules will be resolved individually by the Administration.
c) Administration decisions regarding punishments, bug abuse and server security are final. 

12. Liability
a) The server is provided "as is" without any warranty.
b) The Administration is not responsible for: loss of items, character progress, premium points, connection issues, hardware failures, database failures, force majeure.
c) Playing on the server means accepting the possibility of unexpected technical issues. 

13. Digital Content
a) All Premium Points, Item Shop purchases and virtual items are digital content licensed for use on the server. Purchasing Premium Points or virtual items does not grant ownership rights. The Administration reserves the right to modify, replace or remove any virtual content if required for technical, security or gameplay reasons.

A violation of the Texeria Rules may lead to temporary banishment of characters and accounts. In severe cases removal or modification of character skills, attributes and belongings, as well as the permanent removal of accounts without any compensation may be considered.

The sanction is based on the seriousness of the rule violation and the previous record of the player. It is determined by the gamemaster imposing the banishment.

These rules may be changed at any time.
